Medical Receptionist / Front Desk

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented and professional individual to provide administrative assistance and front desk support in our Clinic in Marlborough. The role offers the opportunity for growth and competitive compensation. Preference will be given to candidates with prior medical administrative or front desk experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and manage check-in procedures at the front desk.
  • Completing patient registration, updating new and existing patient records, collecting payment, and ensuring patients with or without pre-existing reservations are seen in a timely manner.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently, including specialist referrals when necessary.
  • Utilize administrative skills to handle call processing and communicate effectively with patients and clinicians.
  • Assist in maintaining care plans by monitoring appointment logs and following up with patients for necessary visits.
  • Assist in billing and daily charge tasks.
  • Manage patient reservations (online and walk-in) and registration, optimizing patient satisfaction.
  • Manage prompt communication with patients and specialist offices via phone or fax or text messages.
  • Keep the reception area organized and tidy, creating a welcoming environment for patients
  • Perform various administrative duties, including photocopying, filing, and maintaining daily activity logs.
  • Provide support to the clinical staff and administration, ensuring smooth office operations.
  • Utilize Portuguese or Spanish language skills to assist bilingual patients effectively.


Experience:

  • Prior experience in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Bilingual proficiency, especially in Portuguese or Spanish, is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle front desk responsibilities with high integrity and professionalism.
